Chiara Catalano was born in Palermo in a family of artists and scientists which have been mentioned and appreciated by writers such for generations, of which writers such as Leonardo Sciascia and influential media.
Graduated in architecture, Chiara inherited the family traits and began her career as curator of her father’s gallery “Arte al Borgo”, and painting as well.
In December 2019, she made eco-themed garments for actress Emma Watson.
Other international celebrities chose her custom garments: Olivia Rodrigo, Maxmilian Lee Piazza, Anushka Sharma, DJ Jodie Harsh, Khaby Lane, Thalia, Fiorello, Giovanna Antonelli, Federica Pellegrini & Alessia Marcuzzi.
“I do not consider myself a designer, I like to make interventions on clothing.
With an instinctive, optimistic, primitive, raw trait.
I use fabrics as canvases, and posters where I can express and communicate.
Those who wear my clothes become ambassadors of a message.”
